About The Position

The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation treatments to patients under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist. The role involves positioning patients for treatment, operating a Varian True Beam linear accelerator and Align RT, verifying treatment parameters, performing a timeout before treatment, maintaining accurate treatment records, and accurately capturing charges for radiation treatment. Professionalism and excellent oral and written communication are required.

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiation Therapy.
Current ARRT (T) certification.
Current New Jersey Radiation Therapist License.
Demonstrate professionalism and excellent oral and written communication.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience working as a radiation therapist.
Knowledge of Varian Aria, Epic, and the Microsoft Office suite.
