Radiation Therapist
About The Position
UW Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist to use advanced linear accelerators and CT simulation systems, including TrueBeams, Tomotherapy, and the MRI-guided ViewRay treatment machine. The therapist simulates patients in accordance with the radiation oncologist’s prescriptions and instructions. The role includes routine, complex, and specialized work, as well as integrating and administering new technology, as part of a supportive, family-oriented team. The position is per diem, with a day-shift schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A $5,000 sign-on bonus may be available, and relocation assistance may be available to qualified applicants.
Requirements
- Graduate of a School in Radiation Therapy Technology.
- Certification as a Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- CPR certification upon hire.
