About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiation Therapist – Radiation Therapy Tech in Globe, Arizona. The temporary assignment is for 2 weeks, starting on 09/16/2026. The role is in a surgical center setting and offers 32 guaranteed hours per week during the day shift.

Requirements

Flu vaccine required with no exceptions.
100-mile radius housing restriction: travelers with a permanent address within 100 miles of the facility will not be accepted.
RTO (leave) requests: no more than 3 days may be requested per 13-week contract.
Ability to work in a surgical center environment.

Responsibilities

Administer external beam radiation therapy treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
Verify patient identity, treatment site, and prescribed dose; position and immobilize patients as needed for accurate delivery.
Operate and monitor the linear accelerator during treatment sessions; perform routine quality assurance checks per credentials and procedures.
Document treatment delivery, patient response, and any deviations; communicate observations with the radiation oncology team.
Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and patient privacy standards; support patient comfort during procedures.
