Requirements

2+ years of radiation therapy experience
Ability to fulfill a 40-hour work week during the 13-week assignment
Availability for a daytime weekday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment and participate in program flexibility as needed
Eligibility for credentialing and licensure as required by applicable regulations and program guidelines

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients according to physician directions and treatment plans.
Set up and position patients, verify treatment fields, and operate radiation therapy equipment in a safe, accurate manner.
Verify patient identity, treatment site, and documentation prior to each session; monitor patient status during treatment.
Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to ensure treatment accuracy, dose delivery, and patient safety; report and document any deviations or concerns.
Maintain equipment QA checks, manage treatment records, and participate in standard safety and quality assurance procedures.
Provide patient education and support about the treatment process, side effects, and post-treatment care as appropriate.
