About The Position

The Radiation Oncology System Manager is responsible for ensuring the optimum performance of the daily operations of CVPH and AHMC Radiation Oncology Department through the management of site operations which include, but are not limited to patient access, scheduling, resource utilization, charge capture, service quality, compliance with accreditation agencies, clinical standards of care and staffing. In addition to these responsibilities, the System Manager will have general oversight of the UVMMC and CVMC practices. The System Manager must have an intense commitment to high level customer service, and the ability to foster that culture within the Department.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate Degree in Radiation Oncology, Business, or related health care field.
• 3-5 years of progressive management experience.
• Management experience in a Radiation Oncology environment.
• Effective technical, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization.
• Experience implementing change.
• Experience in preparing and presenting statistical data.

Responsibilities

• Management of site operations including patient access, scheduling, resource utilization, charge capture, service quality, compliance with accreditation agencies, clinical standards of care and staffing.
• General oversight of the UVMMC and CVMC practices.
• Fostering a culture of high-level customer service within the Department.
