About The Position

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Radiation Oncologist to join their growing team in Port St. Lucie, Florida. This role is an opportunity to join a physician-led organization focused on patient-centered cancer care. The position will be based in a new, 21,000-square-foot comprehensive cancer center scheduled to open in late 2026. The center will offer a full spectrum of oncology services, including Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Infusion Services, Gynecologic Oncology, PET/CT imaging, and one TrueBeam linear accelerator. The Radiation Oncologist will utilize state-of-the-art radiation therapy technology, including the Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, ARIA and Eclipse software, and will be supported by Medical Physicists, Dosimetrists, radiation therapists, nurses, and clerical staff. The role is part of a centrally managed leadership structure supporting general radiation oncology care in a community-based setting.

Requirements

• Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
• BC/BE in Radiation Oncology
• Extensive knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and techniques

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced, high-precision care utilizing state-of-the-art radiation therapy technology, including the Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator.
• Utilize ARIA and Eclipse software for treatment planning and management.
• Collaborate with support staff including Medical Physicists, Dosimetrists, radiation therapists, registered nurses, and clerical support.
• Deliver general radiation oncology care in a community-based setting.
