About The Position

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a board certified/eligible Radiation Oncologist to join a busy, well-established ACRO accredited practice. This role is crucial for growth and succession planning within the team. The practice is committed to excellence in patient experience, teamwork, and continuous process improvement. The position offers opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, as well as participation in clinical research. UHS provides an extensive array of treatments and technology, including an Elekta Synergy and Varian True Beam, on-site CT Simulation and Planning. The Oncology Service Line is integrated with nurse navigation, social work, nutritional counseling, and complementary services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical and interpersonal skills and be a team player.

Requirements

Board certified or eligible in Radiation Oncology.
Completed an ACGME accredited Residency Program.
Excellent clinical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Team player.

Responsibilities

Provide radiation oncology services.
Utilize Elekta Synergy and Varian True Beam technology.
Perform CT Simulation and Planning.
Collaborate with integrated nurse navigation, social work, and nutritional counseling.
Teach residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University.
Participate in clinical research.
