About The Position

This role offers a unique opportunity to support and enhance a mission‑critical radar program that directly impacts safety, surveillance, and operational readiness. You’ll work hands‑on with cutting‑edge radar systems while collaborating with experienced multi‑agency and industry teams. What You’ll Do As a Radar Program System Administrator, you’ll support multiple radar applications and core components of a large‑scale maritime radar system. Your work will play a critical role in improving system performance, expanding radar capabilities, and ensuring operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of radar system administration experience
  • 5+ years of hands‑on radar analysis and applied use
  • Military radar experience accepted and valued
  • Strong understanding of radar performance, tracking, and target discrimination (maritime or aviation)
  • Experience with radar environments for both target detection and weather preferred
  • Familiarity with radar analysis, modeling, or simulation tools
  • Ability to identify maritime Targets of Interest (TOI)
  • Basic systems administration experience with radar applications
  • Working knowledge of Unix operating systems and basic networking troubleshooting
  • Comfort working on‑site at radar facilities and collaborating with multi‑contractor teams
  • Professional, ethical, and confident technical representation with government and industry partners
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate technical teams
  • Understanding of business operations and contribution to strategic decisions
  • Knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community processes, policies, and guidance
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and maritime procedures preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supporting radar applications, integrations, and system components
  • Providing or coordinating training, technical analysis, and range modeling
  • Leading test and evaluation (T&E) of new radar functions and enhancements
  • Conducting performance assessments and recommending system improvements
  • Assisting with site selection, setup, and sustainment of remote radar locations
  • Supporting aviation and drone integration initiatives
  • Improving system‑level radar performance critical to coastline security
  • Collaborate with multiple agencies to forecast schedules and customer deliverables
  • Enhance cross‑agency communication and operational efficiency
  • Support cost analysis and program reporting for radar initiatives
  • Ensure contract compliance and manage requirements flow‑down to subcontractors
  • Schedule and maintain physical radar sites and applications
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation and support live operations during non-standard hours when required
  • Hybrid work environment when off‑site work permits
