About The Position

The Rad Tech provides diagnostic imaging services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The role uses various radiographic techniques and equipment to perform imaging examinations that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This is a full-time, second-shift position with 34 weekly hours.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or military training as a graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT; ARRT certification must be obtained within one year of hire or within one year of obtaining Kentucky licensure, whichever occurs first.
• BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• BLS certification preferred upon hire.
• Prior experience working as a Rad Tech in a hospital or medical imaging facility.
