About The Position
MUSC/Black River (Cades, SC) is seeking a Full-Time Rad Tech to join their team. This role involves providing quality imaging and patient care within two or more imaging modalities. The technologist must be able to effectively explain procedures to patients and ensure competence in performing them. The primary responsibility is to produce images for the interpretation and/or request of a licensed practitioner. MUSC Health Black River Medical Center supports a patient-and family-centered approach to care, viewing family members as key participants in support, decision-making, and care, with no visiting hour restrictions and two people always welcome at the bedside 24 hours a day. Residents benefit from access to a full range of modern diagnostic and interventional capabilities.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or obtain within the first 6 months.
- Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

- One year in Radiology preferred
