About The Position

Highland Hospital is seeking a full-time CT Tech Aide to support patient flow by assisting technologists and registered nurses. The role is scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., for a total of 36 hours per week. The aide helps maintain patient safety and comfort, assists with patient transfers and procedure preparation, and supports the movement of patients through the continuum of care. The position also involves monitoring schedules and the Radiology Information System, answering phones, stocking supplies, and helping with scanning-room and stretcher setup. The hourly salary range is $17.70 to $22.92. Individual pay is set within the range based on factors including market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent experience.
Computer skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of radiology office experience is preferred.
Advanced computer skills, including eRecord, are preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor the patient schedule and the Radiology Information System to maximize patient flow.
Help ensure efficient patient flow.
Answer phones and take messages as appropriate.
Stock linen and supplies as needed and monitor expiration dates monthly.
Ensure patient safety and comfort.
Assist with transferring patients on and off the scanning table.
Assist with checking in patients.
Navigate patients throughout the continuum of care.
Escort or transport patients to and from the emergency department, waiting areas, and procedure areas.
Assist technologists and nurses with preparation for and completion of procedures.
Place stretchers in the lowest position and maintain a safe stretcher height during transfers.
Change scanning-bed attachments as directed by the technologist.
Place socks on patients.
