About The Position

Prestonwood Country Club is looking for a dependable, hardworking Racquet Sports Court Maintenance Specialist to join our Racquet Sports team. This Full-Time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping facilities clean and well-maintained. You will work closely with the Director of Tennis Operations and Tennis staff to make sure our courts and facilities are maintained to the high standards our members expect.

Requirements

• Available to work 6:30am-2:30pm 5 days per week.
• Takes pride in their work and pays close attention to detail.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Comfortable performing general maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Basic handyman skills or experience with areas such as gardening, painting, carpentry, equipment repair, window washing, or general cleaning.
• Willing to learn and follow proper safety procedures.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 6 Har-Tru clay courts, 8 hard tennis courts, and 4 pickleball courts
• Keep drains around pickleball and tennis courts cleaned.
• Sweep and maintain clay Racquet Sports courts daily, both morning and afternoon.
• Blow off sidewalks and hard courts as needed.
• Keep benches, tables, coolers, and other areas clean and ready for members.
• Replace and refill coolers with ice and water.
• Keep towels and cups stocked throughout the day.
• Empty trash cans around the Racquet Sports courts and Racquet Sports building.
• Pick up stray Racquet Sports balls, trash, and other debris around the courts.
• Pull weeds and keep areas around water boxes and fences clean and free of leaves and debris.
• Maintain and replace windscreens and tie wraps as needed.
• Clean and organize the outside storage room.
• Take trash and cardboard to the appropriate disposal areas.
• Charge and maintain the golf cart daily.
• Travel to a satellite Racquet Sports facility by car or golf cart to perform similar maintenance duties.
• Communicate daily maintenance concerns or facility issues with the Racquet Sports staff.
• Help ensure Racquet Sports facilities and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
