About The Position

Supermicro Computer Inc is currently seeking Test Engineers to join the Rack Solutions team, who can do complete server configuration check, performance test, packing check, and familiar with Linus OS for server, switch, add on card test …etc. Familiar with Linux shell script programing, and server hardware datasheet (GPU, AOC, NIC, CPU, DIMM, HDD…), and make judgment on testing result.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; or Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred
2-4 years of relevant experience
Strong troubleshooting skills at Linux server system testing and debugging
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Dedication, Job responsibility are must for this job
Familiar with Microsoft Office and able to generate test report
Strong attention to details, including accuracy and thoroughness
Solid communications skills both verbal and written
Able to work independently and be a good team player

Nice To Haves

Skill on Shell Scripts/Python/ Selenium/Redfish/Network (Ethernet/Infiniband) is a Plus
Experience with rack-level deployment is a plus

Responsibilities

Monitor, review L10/L11 test results to control server quality/reliability from Production and Ware House
Manage our quality control procedures and follow up issues from L10/L11 testiing to improve company’s product quality
Support and coordinate with LAB and other engineering teams to improve our server qualities
Take ownership provide feedback and take initiative to drive to improve server qualities
Work with cross-functional teams and take initiative to set quality standards for new products
