About The Position
Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking an R2 / e-Stewards Quality & Compliance Specialist to help drive the certifications, management systems, and compliance programs supporting our responsible recycling operations. This role involves supporting R2 and e-Stewards compliance, certification readiness, and continuous improvement, as well as maintaining and improving the integrated Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System (QEHSMS). The specialist will also coordinate audits, manage document control, lead corrective actions, track KPIs, and partner with various departments to strengthen compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality, EHS, Industrial Technology, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant quality, compliance, auditing, recycling, ITAD, manufacturing, or industrial experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001
- Experience with audits, CAPA, document control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Direct R2 and/or e-Stewards experience
- Experience with an electronics recycler, ITAD provider, auditing/certification organization, or consulting firm
- ISO Internal or Lead Auditor experience
- Experience with RIOS, NAID AAA, or similar certification programs
Responsibilities
- Support R2 and e-Stewards compliance, certification readiness, and continuous improvement
- Maintain and improve our integrated Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System (QEHSMS)
- Support certifications including R2, e-Stewards, RIOS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Coordinate internal, customer, regulatory, and certification audits
- Manage document control, procedures, work instructions, and Management of Change (MOC)
- Lead/support CAPA, root cause analysis, investigations, and corrective actions
- Track quality and compliance KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, Maintenance, HR, and leadership to strengthen compliance
