About The Position

This role involves performing procedures in strict compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), QA/QC procedures, OSHA guidelines, and other applicable regulations. The technician will provide assistance in the execution of clinical trials, ensuring the well-being and safety of study participants. This position also includes providing administrative and operational support and serving as an integral member of the site and study team throughout all study processes, from pre-admit to study close.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D is required.
• Completion of a formal Phlebotomy OR Medical Assistant program OR equivalent verifiable clinical experience (e.g., 1+ years in a clinical setting) is required.
• Minimum one year experience in venipuncture (also known as Phlebotomy).
• At least one of the following required: Completion of a formal Phlebotomy certificate OR Medical Assistant program certificate.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to obtain vital signs and perform ECGs.
• Able to perform telemetry and insertion of intravenous catheters, or a willingness to learn.

• Provides assistance in the execution of clinical trials.
• Ensures the well-being and safety of study participants.
• Provides administrative and operational support.
• Serves as an integral member of the site and study team during study processes, including pre-admit, admission, orientation, conduct, discharge and study close.
