About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Specialist to join our team in Oldsmar, FL. In this role, you will work closely with the R&D team to support the design, development, and manufacturing processes of our products. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
Strong technical writing skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
A flexible team player who is self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a dedication to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Support R&D activities involving product development, formulation work, and manufacturing processes.
Work closely with formulators to develop products and prepare customer samples.
Maintain detailed inventory records for laboratory materials and supplies.
Ensure laboratory equipment, tools, and workspaces are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Coordinate with the Purchasing department to submit purchase requests (PRs) and track purchase orders (POs).
Gather and analyze data to characterize current processes and quantify potential process improvements.
Troubleshoot and suggest creative solutions to design and process issues.
Conduct experiments and tests to assess the performance of products.
Effectively communicate technical results and recommendations by summarizing data and communicating results clearly to the team.
