About The Position

Develop new and improved products for Chem-Trend worldwide in order to meet customer demands in a rapid and timely manner. Provide rapid and timely technical service, assisting Sales and customers. Identify and investigate potential areas of cost savings, product improvements, process efficiencies, and better Quality Assurance (QA) procedures. Provide technical support to all company departments. Participate in development of new and existing technologies and programs. Effectively interface with suppliers in identifying and qualifying new raw materials. Publish or present technical work as appropriate.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related field
• 10+ years of industrial experience preferred, including formulation and/or wet chemistry.
• High level of technical expertise in surface science.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field preferred.
• Preferred background in silicones, metalworking, or lubrication.
