About The Position

AirBoss Rubber Solutions is seeking an R&D Lab Technician to join their team. This role involves testing new materials for the mixing process, coordinating material mixing and testing, operating lab equipment, and assisting in studies of new ingredients and compounds. The technician will also prepare reports on test results and collaborate with various teams to ensure procedural requirements are met. Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a safe and expedient manner
• Analytical experience

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of rubber mixing and testing
• College or University education in a related field
• Quality training
• Previous lab experience

Responsibilities

• Test all new materials that may be used in the mixing process
• Coordinate the mixing and testing of all new materials
• Operate all lab equipment
• Assist in conducting studies of new ingredients and compounds
• Prepare reports based on test results
• Interact with compounders, technical staff, lab personnel, and production associates to ensure procedures and tests being performed are meeting requirements
• Additional duties as assigned
