R&D Lab Technician II (LivTec)
About The Position
The R&D Lab Technician II at Continental's LivTec business in Winchester, Virginia, will execute accurate lab trials and document results, realize product constructions and formulations in the lab, and complete development tasks within agreed time, quality, and cost frameworks. This role requires safeguarding reliable and repeatable results and proposing optimization steps in review meetings. The technician will work in compliance with quality guidelines, legal requirements, and safety regulations, ensuring complete and proper documentation of test and trial results. They will contribute to innovation through cross-functional thinking, active use of applicable tools, and constructive input based on laboratory observations and results. Additionally, the role involves creating and maintaining project documentation using software and order creation tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Approximately 3 years of relevant laboratory, R&D, product-development, testing, or manufacturing-support experience
- Able to work safely and independently on defined laboratory tasks
- Able to interact with R&D, Research, Operations, Purchasing, and laboratory contacts

- Background in chemistry education/apprenticeships a plus
