About The Position
Duracell is building a bold new Global R&D Headquarters in Atlanta, a world-class innovation hub focused on the next generation of battery technology, new materials, sustainable design, and entirely new product categories. As an R&D Intern, you'll work alongside scientists, engineers, and product researchers on real projects that directly impact how Duracell designs, tests, and brings products to market. Depending on your placement, you may be designing and testing new battery form factors, evaluating new materials for electrochemical systems, optimizing manufacturing processes, developing packaging solutions, or supporting consumer and product research to identify unmet needs and new opportunities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
- Hands-on curiosity
- Comfortable in a lab or technical environment
- Thrive in collaborative, fast-moving teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly across disciplines
