The Geological Resources Team conducts multidisciplinary applied research and develops innovative approaches to improve understanding of geological subsurface processes related to conventional, unconventional, and low-carbon resources. Areas of specialization include structural geology, organic and inorganic geochemistry, rock physics, and geomechanics. The Graduate Summer Intern supports a defined, supervised research project involving laboratory experimentation, data analysis, modeling, literature review, or evaluation of emerging technologies related to resources characterization, exploration, and development. Working under experienced researchers, the intern contributes to project deliverables while gaining practical experience in an industrial R&D environment. The internship requires availability for the full internship term and may be eligible for course credit; students should check with their Academic Advisor or University.
