About The Position

Crown is looking for all levels of R&D Engineers to work on the NAMS-2 project in Mountain View, CA. This role involves performing statistical and data analyses to characterize and quantify the benefits of ATM concepts and technologies, and quantifying and interpreting various metrics to assess these benefits. The engineer will write Python scripts to format data and create data visualizations like scatter plots, histograms, or confusion matrices for easier comparisons between data elements. Creating reports and user guides to document research and development is also part of the role, along with documenting the methodology used for vertiport placement, early phase system level analysis, conceptual design, and basic prototype implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher of engineering
• 0-3 years of related experience (Level I)
• 3-5 years of related experience (Level II)
• 5+ years of related experience (Level III)
• Master's degree or higher of engineering (Level III)

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical and data analyses to characterize and quantify the benefits of ATM concepts and technologies
