About The Position

We’re currently looking for an Engineer 1 to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. This role will be responsible for design, test or program management function. A Day in the Life: The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives. Job functions include but are not limited to: Lead program development activities to ensure completion of key milestones and vehicle Quality, Cost and Timing Develop project schedule and manage critical path Monitor metrics, identify key issues, bring “decision ready” issues forward to Chief Vehicle Engineer Be the liaison between engineering and outside organizations (manufacturing, marketing, product planning, etc.) Ensure project stays on schedule and on budget Be able to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally within the Nissan organization

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering required
Strong communication and documentation skills
Up to 10-20% travel may be required, both domestic and international
Willingness to work overtime as necessary to complete job
