About The Position

We’re currently looking for an Engineer 1 to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. This role will be responsible for design, test or program management function. Job functions include but are not limited to: Lead program development activities to ensure completion of key milestones and vehicle Quality, Cost and Timing. Develop project schedule and manage critical path. Monitor metrics, identify key issues, bring “decision ready” issues forward to Chief Vehicle Engineer. Be the liaison between engineering and outside organizations (manufacturing, marketing, product planning, etc.). Ensure project stays on schedule and on budget. Be able to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally within the Nissan organization.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering required
Strong communication and documentation skills
Up to 10-20% travel may be required, both domestic and international
Willingness to work overtime as necessary to complete job
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire; Nissan uses E-Verify to validate employment eligibility.
