Requirements

BS or MS in Chemistry with 3+ yrs of laboratory experience
Strong background in Analytical Chemistry and/or Electrochemistry particularly preferred
Hands-on experience with modern analytical instrumentation and laboratory techniques, including chromatographic, spectroscopic, and electrochemical methodologies
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Knowledge and hand-on experience on state of the art analytical methodologies, which include but not limited to electrochemical techniques, CVS, ICP, FTIR, HPLC, GC/MS, IC, GPC, and LC/MS

Responsibilities

Research, develop analytical methods, and assist in formulation of products for the wafer level and semiconductor packaging, IC substrate, and printed circuit board industries
Identify, develop, and execute analytical research project activities as delegated to them by the Senior Research Manager
Observe, analyze, and interpret the results from these activities and make recommendations for the direction and preferred route forward for analytical research projects
Use data generated pro-actively for problem solving and/or value added activities on projects
Write reports and presentations that clearly communicate technical findings to other researchers, and participating in departmental project meetings
Maintain a high level of professional expertise in the state of the art principles, theories and methodologies in technology areas of strategic importance to AIS
