Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in supporting technical dossier management and analytical lab compliance.

Requirements

  • High School diploma with at least 5 years of lab experience or Associates Degree in Science with 1-2 years related experience in Personal Care and/or Surface Care
  • Knowledge or experience of the Consumer Products market.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral communication skills to effectively provide feedback to project teams or immediate supervisor
  • Strong written communication skills for accurate data entry and concise lab reports
  • Results-oriented and self-motivating, seeking information from others to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change
  • Timely execution of multiple project objectives within established timelines
  • Desire to learn, apply, and enhance skill set while seeking new opportunities
  • Good networking and communication skills
  • Knowledge of common software applications, including MSOffice and other related computer skills.

  • GLP/GMP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare various formulations in the lab and conduct performance evaluations (e.g. cleaning, fragrancing, life span, foaming) on formula applications.
  • Conduct chemical and physical evaluations (e.g. titrations, viscosity, pH, stability, compatibility, phase behavior, surface tension) on various formula applications.
  • Maintain MSDS files, chemical inventory and effective operation of laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of experiments performed and generating reports on results achieved.
  • Coordinate product testing with Microbiology, Information Services, Sensory and Analytical Groups, as needed.
  • Order laboratory supplies and chemicals.
