Requirements

BA/BS or equivalent.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong oral and written communication.
Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems, interfaces, PC applications, e-mail, and internet search and navigation.
Demonstrated capability to multi-task in fast-paced team environment.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 Years of experience in Sourcing/MRO preferred.
MRO product knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for locating sources for relevant products/services and providing quotations needed to support customers’ MRO needs.
Identifying alternate sources and product/service solutions in support of business objectives and researching and recommending alternate solutions in support of customer objectives (i.e., lead time, functionality, cost savings, etc.).
Negotiate cost and terms and conditions with suppliers.
Determine/set price to sell to our customers.
Identify sources for product/services in support of customer requests in a timely manner.
Ensure proper product selections, matches, and/or alternatives.
Make purchasing decisions based on customer need, market and competitor conditions, product specifications, supplier strategy, and business policy.
Negotiate cost, terms and conditions with suppliers.
Provide exceptional customer service by proactively contacting customer to resolve issues and to improve opportunity success rate.
Maintain productivity measurements including number of quotes completed per day, cycle time, average mark up and buy/quote ratio.
Communicate performance expectations and provide qualitative feedback to supply chain regarding performance of suppliers.
Support gross profit goals by negotiating and controlling product costs, lead times, freight terms and purchase quantity requirements.
Maintain existing supplier relationships and initiate potential new supplier relationships.
Support team members on product and source inquiries
Provide leadership in Change Management methodology within the company and throughout the customer’s organization.
