This role owns the day-to-day responsibility for dispositioning web-based inquiries received via www.wabteccorp.com, www.wabtec.com, the Customer Web Center (CWC) or other channels. The specialist will manage quotes, order entry, order revisions, and basic order management activities for several Wabtec businesses, with a focus on Aero Transportation Products (ATP) customers. This includes responding to and documenting spot quotations via Oracle, entering orders received via email, fax, or phone into Oracle (Edison or Westinghouse instances), and solving or driving timely resolution of order errors. The role also involves providing accurate Sales Order Acknowledgements directly to customers, supporting warranty order entry, and collaborating with the Comm Ops team for successful handoffs of special deals. Additionally, the specialist will support contract, product pricing, and surcharge management, and provide non-technical customer support across the ATP portfolio, acting as a primary customer contact.
