About The Position

Ferguson is seeking an Entry Level Commercial/Multi-Family HVAC Quotations Coordinator to join their team. This role involves learning to develop commercial plumbing quotes and supporting sales teams across various markets. The position is approved for a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, based out of Raleigh, NC, Nashville, TN, or Newport News, VA locations. Requirements

  • Commercial/multi-family HVAC knowledge, quotation experience, and/or Inside Sales experience preferred, however, the company is willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to collaborate and support quotations associates and managers in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, especially Teams and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong computer and typing skills (40+ WPM).
  • Ability to handle a highly deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable as this position often requires multi-tasking.
  • Ability to identify business critical issues quickly and navigate priorities based on last minute changes.
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent time-management skills.
  • Must display a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • For hybrid workers: Candidates must have a high-speed internet connection.
  • For hybrid workers: Candidates must be within reasonable driving distance to work a hybrid/flexible schedule with time in the office for in-person meetings, training, and/or collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop quotations based on branch preferences, including manufacturers and profit margins.
  • After training, identify relevant materials to be quoted.
  • Maintain good customer and vendor relationships.
  • Interact and negotiate with vendors.
  • Work within a team setting to accomplish goals.
  • Organize and file inbound emails and attachments appropriately in project folders.
  • Identify business-critical issues quickly and collaborate with team members to resolve them.
  • Utilize and maintain established SOPs to complete quotation processes.
