About The Position
This is a ground-floor role for individuals who want to enter the commercial HVAC trade and are willing to work hard to earn it. The position involves loading and staging trucks, tearing out old equipment, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop, organizing parts and tools, and providing support to field and warehouse crews. No prior experience is required, only a willingness to show up, work hard, and learn. This role serves as an on-ramp, with opportunities for advancement to helper, apprentice, and beyond for those who prove themselves.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse or shop operations preferred.
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus (or willingness to be trained).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks for commercial HVAC projects, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible yard environment.
- Operate a forklift as needed to transport heavy equipment and materials.
- Assist with crane lifts to receive and position large HVAC equipment.
- Organize and manage parts and tools within designated departments.
- Disassemble and remove old equipment for proper disposal or recycling.
