About The Position

We are looking for a Quotation Analyst to support our Steel/Industrial Canada, Mexico and United States sales business who has knowledge of basic financial concepts (relationships between revenue, cost, profitability), good and clear interpersonal communication ability, can make intuitive connections between different information sets, vision to apply and adapt new business intelligence technology.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Above average math skills
• Aptitude with SAP ERP systems
• Aptitude with MS Office - MS Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Teams /SharePoint / Outlook
• Knowledge of basic financial concepts (relationships between revenue, cost, profitability)
• Good and clear interpersonal communication ability
• Can make intuitive connections between different information sets
• Vision to apply and adapt new business intelligence technology

Nice To Haves

• Intercultural work experience
• Experience in commercial offer / estimation / quotation experience
• Experience in refractory or steel industry
• Exposure to CRM systems

Responsibilities

• Support ad-hoc analyses together within dept and in collaboration with other global RHI Magnesita departments as needed
• Handle special tasks assigned as needed such as collaboration on business plans or supporting non-standard sales opportunities
• Interact with NAM Engineering & Quotation team colleagues to share information, exchange ideas and advance the entire team's competency
• Can manage multiple commercial offers simultaneously, able to allocate work hours to meet existing deadlines, will communicate with different areas of RHI Magnesita organization to gather information necessary to complete commercial offers.
