About The Position

Ken Garff Mesquite Ford is seeking a part-time Quick Lube Automotive Technician who demonstrates respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork. The role performs routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, lubrication, and electronic multi-point inspections with video. No personal tools are required; shop tools and equipment are available. The company’s PRO TECH program offers performance and tenure recognition, predictable pay raises, a quarterly tool allowance, and development opportunities.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Have a valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be accommodating and analytical, producing precise and accurate work.
Be resourceful and seek a high level of technical expertise.
Be unselfish and approachable, with a preference for detailed, skill-based work.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic vehicle systems and technical resources.

Responsibilities

Drain engine oil and replace it with the suggested viscosity and quantity.
Rotate tires and adjust tire air pressure as needed.
Inspect and refill fluid levels of key components and lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
Perform a Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection, including video, on every vehicle.
