About The Position
Hall Hyundai Elizabeth City, part of MileOne Autogroup, is hiring a Quick Lube Technician to perform light vehicle maintenance and repairs, including lubrication, oil and filter changes, tire balancing and rotation, and cooling-system flushing. The role involves working independently and as part of a team to provide a high level of service and customer satisfaction. Hall offers paid training and opportunities for continued development. Requirements
- Have 1–2 years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or independent shop, or equivalent automotive trade school experience.
- Have a valid, clean driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no major violations, such as DUI or reckless driving, in the last three years. Candidates under 21 may have no more than one moving violation and no major violations in the last three years.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have good customer relations skills.
- Be able to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Inject grease into vehicle units such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles using a hand or compressed-air-powered grease gun.
- Inspect fluid levels in steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles.
- Check tire air pressure.
- Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
- Drain crankcase oil and refill with the required amount of oil.
- Replace oil and air filters.
- Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed.
