About The Position

Key Auto Group is seeking a Quick Lube Technician for Key Motors of Gainesville. The company emphasizes a team-oriented culture, professional development, and promoting from within. In this role, you will inspect, test, maintain, and repair vehicle systems and components, including performing oil and filter service, checking tire pressure and fluid levels, and using diagnostic equipment and tools. You will help maintain diagnostic and repair efficiency and accuracy while contributing to a clean, professional, productive shop environment.

Requirements

Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities.
Effective analytical and communication skills, and eagerness to improve.
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Test vehicle systems and components to verify that they are secure and working properly.
Isolate systems or components that may have caused a problem.
Drive vehicles for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
Ensure tires are properly inflated.
Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter, and communicate oil levels to teammates.
Maintain efficiency and accuracy when diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
Repair or replace worn parts before vehicle breakdown or damage.
Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform tasks.
