About The Position

This role is for a Quick Lane Technician, also known as a Lube Tech, who will perform light maintenance on vehicles. The position is at Richmond Ford West, a family-owned business and a President's Award-winning dealership. They have immediate opportunities available and offer competitive pay based on skill level and experience, ranging from $15 to $20 per hour.   • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test

Responsibilities

  • Document and perform work as outlined on repair order following all dealership and factory standards
  • Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil; replace oil and air filters
  • Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary
  • Check tire pressure and add air if needed
  • Perform Multi-Point Inspection / Video MPI to advise customer on condition of key components & advise of maintenance needs
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Keep shop area neat and clean
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
