About The Position

The Tenvoorde Family is seeking an experienced QuickLane Manager who is outgoing, energetic, and possesses a positive attitude. This role offers stability, opportunity, and a better work-life balance. The QuickLane Manager will be an essential part of the long-term success of Tenvoorde Ford's service department, responsible for ensuring their team executes QuickLane standards for light maintenance services such as oil changes, wiper blade/air filter replacements, and tire inflation. Requirements

  • Experienced QuickLane Manager
  • Outgoing and energetic with a positive attitude
  • Ability to train, lead, and mentor technicians
  • Adaptive to and embrace change
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
  • Ability to work in hot/cold weather conditions
  • Must be alert and aware of surroundings
  • Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Technician experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting, Interviewing, Onboarding
  • Responsible for training and motivating the team, holding staff accountable, and making personnel decisions
  • Training and teaching technicians daily to improve technician skills
  • Check in with customers before they leave the shop to make sure they had a great experience
  • Ensure crew actively provides excellent customer experience
  • Assist customers by writing RO’s, upselling and ensuring completion of RO
  • Control inventory: Conduct End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
  • Work with vendors to place product orders
  • Understand the shop’s financials to drive results and beat budget
  • Conduct quarterly employee evaluations
  • Review and submit payroll
  • Create crew schedule
  • Support technicians with their duties
