About The Position

Worley is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to validate and document installed construction quantities in the field, support progress measurement and cost control, and help ensure accurate project reporting and billing. The role works closely with field supervision, project controls, and construction teams, and contributes to safe, efficient, and data-driven project delivery. It also supports the systems and processes used for quantity measurement and reporting and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• A university degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant field experience.
• Extensive hands-on construction experience, ideally as a foreman, project controls specialist, or in a similar field leadership capacity.
• Technical expertise validating installed quantities across multiple disciplines, including structural steel, concrete, piping, and electrical systems.
• Understanding of cost control, progress measurement, and earned value principles.
• Proficiency with systems, tools, and processes for construction data tracking and reporting, including the ability to troubleshoot and support others.
• Analytical, detail-oriented approach and ability to balance field execution with data accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, including preparing clear documentation and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

• Ability to work in dynamic field environments while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Validate installed quantities—including steel, concrete, piping, equipment, and electrical bulks—against field progress claims.
• Maintain detailed logs of installed work to support cost control, earned value analysis, and verification of reporting and billing.
• Identify and document variances in reported quantities.
• Collaborate with field supervision, project controls, and construction teams to support timely and accurate progress reporting.
• Adhere to and promote Worley’s safety regulations, standards, and culture of care in the field.
• Prepare and deliver reports, proposals, and presentations for project stakeholders and management.
• Troubleshoot and support systems, processes, and tools used in quantity measurement and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency in data-driven project delivery.
