About The Position

Five Rings is a proprietary trading firm that combines strategy, innovation, and technology to succeed in global markets. We trade in various domestic and international markets. Our team constantly seeks new opportunities, analyzes risks and rewards, and creates strategies and tools to capitalize on them. We foster an open culture that encourages the flow of knowledge and ideas. As a Quantitative Trader (QT), you will manage unique strategies in rapidly evolving live markets. This involves tuning model parameters, executing trades based on model recommendations, evaluating real-time feedback from market participants, and reincorporating this information into models in a continuous feedback loop. From day one, you will gain experience both on the desk and in the classroom, working closely with senior traders to analyze risks and rewards, explore new strategies, and collaborate with quants and software developers to build and optimize trading models. Quant Traders work independently and with others to develop ideas and analyses, and integrate them into our trading strategies and systems.

Responsibilities

Manage unique strategies in rapidly evolving live markets.
Tune model parameters to reflect prevailing conditions.
Execute trades based on model recommendations.
