Our trading teams consist of traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers who collaboratively examine global markets, understand traded products and exchanges, and leverage statistical analysis and data mining to develop profitable predictive trading models. The quant trading internship is an intensive 10-week program designed to enhance trading aptitude and understanding of financial markets, simulating the experience of a full-time quant trader at Jump. Interns will receive training in trading, quantitative research, and quantitative development, with a primary focus on trading and financial markets. Topics covered include trading strategies, market mechanics, statistics, and the research process for signal generation. Interns will work with trading teams on impactful projects, receiving daily 1:1 mentorship from experienced professionals. The program also includes mock trading sessions, poker training, and modules focused on probabilistic thinking, risk-taking, and trader mindset. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Outstanding skills in probabilistic thinking and mathematical reasoning.
