About The Position

This role involves devising and evaluating methods for data collection, conducting research, and recommending digital marketing strategies for the card business. The position drives analytics efforts to increase new card acquisitions and enhance existing customer engagement across key digital marketing channels. It requires interfacing with cross-functional strategy teams to establish digital KPIs, and to drive tracking and reporting within these channels. The role also supports the development of strategic roadmaps to achieve KPIs and provides concise, insightful, and timely analytics for key trends by analyzing large datasets. Additionally, it offers strategic thought leadership, proactively identifies new growth opportunities in partnership with cross-functional teams, and performs customer profile and segmentation analysis to understand the impact of different product offerings and channel strategies on credit card business performance. The role innovates, architects, and designs to leverage data mining capabilities for business growth through acquisitions and increased product usage, collaborates with development teams to automate and combine data across products and channels, performs reporting for digital campaigns, and identifies and executes automation opportunities for key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Risk and Financial Advisory, Engineer or related occupation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Risk and Financial Advisory, Engineer or related occupation.
  • Two (2) years of experience leading performance measurement and analytics for clients in the financial services industry.
  • Two (2) years of experience designing and developing interactive analytical reports in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint utilizing functionalities including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, array formulas, pivot tables, data analysis add-ons, dynamic filters, and embedded objects to automate data analysis and presentation workflows.
  • Two (2) years of experience creating executive-ready presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint by integrating dynamic data visualizations, scenario analysis outputs, and automated links to Excel data.
  • Two (2) years of experience querying structured datasets using SQL techniques including window functions, CTEs, and stored procedures for complex data manipulation, transformation, and in-depth analysis.
  • Two (2) years of experience developing data visualizations using Tableau or Power BI by implementing calculated fields, parameter controls, real-time data integration, and advanced data cleaning to monitor KPIs and visualize business trends.
  • One (1) year of experience using Python libraries including pandas, and NumPy for complex data manipulation, transformation, and in-depth analysis.
  • One (1) year of experience applying statistical techniques including hypothesis testing z-test, ANOVA, and correlation analysis to assess the statistical significance of A/B experiments and providing data-driven recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
  • One (1) year of experience automating recurring reporting processes and building end-to-end data workflows in Alteryx using data blending, transformation, and custom macros to enable scalable and repeatable insight generation.
  • Any amount of experience translating complex data into actionable insights for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Any amount of experience applying machine learning techniques including regression analysis, classification algorithms, cohort analysis, associative rule mining, and scenario simulation to evaluate business performance, predict outcomes, and track behavioral trends over time.

  • Innovate, architect, and design to put the data to use by leveraging data mining capabilities to grow the J.P. Morgan & Chase Business through acquisitions and increased product usage.
