The Quality Technician role at the Indy Bakery Plant involves demonstrating behaviors to support quality work processes, including documenting and tracking production variables, downtime, and product samples. The technician is responsible for ensuring the proper blending of raw materials, following and documenting recipe specifications to meet quality standards, and complying with Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). Key duties also include conducting area audits, developing training materials, reviewing analytical test results, performing line control, informing team members of non-conforming results, and executing product hold procedures. The role requires preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment and reagents, managing lab supply inventory, investigating consumer and customer complaints, performing sensory analysis, conducting HACCP line verifications, baking products, performing foreign material investigations, and completing HACCP and quality deviations.
