Requirements

Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to operate Microsoft Office (Windows) Operating System.

Nice To Haves

Six Sigma training/exposure
American Society of Quality (ASQ) certification in QT, etc.
Some college/college degree preferred.
Exposure to injection molding, blow molding or assembly processes.
Insulated product experience.

Responsibilities

Perform quality audits of finished product, parts in process, and incoming materials and product to ensure it adheres to specifications.
Verify product meets specification by utilizing various established testing methods and procedures.
Perform product audits (production line, warehouse, receiving inbound).
Provide accurate reporting of first piece inspections, non-conforming materials, inbound audits, quality audits, calibrations, and deviations.
Develop work instructions and quality specifications.
Participate in development of new products including the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) process.
Maintain proper control of quality records and documents.
Work in cross-departmental cooperation for completion of first piece inspections, process audits, and resolving quality spec issues.
Report quality issues and concerns.
Train in the use of quality standards and specifications.
Operate Microsoft Office (Windows) Operating System.
Perform other duties as required.
