About The Position

Indicon is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented person to join its close-knit, cross-functional Quality Team. The team ensures incoming materials meet specifications and that finished products meet customer specifications and internal expectations. The position is entry-level, with room to grow, and contributes to ongoing quality improvement.

Requirements

• Strong communication, active listening, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• Complex problem-solving ability, with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel; ability to create or learn to create data tables, pivot tables, and charts to support analysis and decision-making; and PowerPoint skills.
• Good understanding of Syteline or the ability to learn it.
• Detail-oriented and customer-focused.
• Flexibility to juggle multiple projects.
• Ability to perform the stated physical activities, including reaching, sitting, twisting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
• Ability to work using a computer and alternate between sitting and standing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming products to ensure conformance to specifications and drawings.
• Contain item inventory across the plant when issues are identified.
• Analyze defects and determine the disposition of non-conforming items.
• Document and report product quality levels.
• Communicate with team members to solve problems.
• Respond to production line calls for quality concerns or needs.
• Follow up through appropriate channels when concerns are identified.
• Follow 6S practices daily.
