About The Position

Bonfiglioli USA is seeking a Quality Technician to help oversee operational activities and ensure quality control. The role ensures products meet quality checks before leaving the facility by assessing them from the raw-material stage through completion and identifying damage or defects. The technician uses testing and measuring equipment to inspect products and audits processes within the plant.

The position is based at Bonfiglioli USA in Hebron, Kentucky, and is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On-the-job training is offered to technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint.
• Good decision-making abilities and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to efficiently network and coordinate processes.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Adherence to workplace safety regulations.
• High customer focus and a continuous-improvement mentality.
• Good math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of the proper use of standard measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Use standard measurement tools and quality laboratory equipment, including micrometers and calipers.
• Perform in-process audits and transfer materials as necessary.
• Work with operators on print interpretation and use of gauging.
• Record production or process data, evaluate it, and call attention to deviations or unexpected variations against testing specifications and instructions.
• Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment while maintaining and improving standards.
• Monitor product quality.
• Participate in root-cause analysis for customer complaints.
• Contribute information and analysis to quality-assurance plans and reviews.
• Prepare and complete action plans, implement changes, and manage and report production sorts.
• Perform other duties as requested or required by management.
