This position is primarily responsible for Document Control (which includes ECN/ECO and ESD training) and secondary, ISO Internal Audit. The Quality Engineer Technician role focuses on data and continuous improvement. The role involves creating quality reports, assisting in the initiation of corrective action requests, and raising awareness of quality defects. The position also includes data mining and analysis, completing reports, approving and generating Nonconformity Reports (NCRs), and preparing quality documents. A significant portion of the role involves performing audits to ensure the preservation, organization, and completeness of quality data, issuing NCRs, tracking responses, and verifying corrective action effectiveness. The role also requires working with repair and test teams to obtain root causes and communicating findings to the Quality Engineer. Additionally, the technician will work with the quality supervisor and inspectors to ensure data accuracy and perform periodic audits of MyCIS quality data.
