About The Position

Applied Composites is seeking a Quality Technician/Materials Tester to provide technical support to the quality team. The position conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components, and parts at various stages of production to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards. The role supports the inspection and evaluation of standard and special products, maintains testing records, and helps resolve quality issues. The position requires the use of information subject to ITAR; applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR.

Requirements

Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that allows successful performance of job expectations.
4–6 years of relevant experience.
Skill in conducting examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components, and parts across standard and special products.
Ability to independently resolve standard assignments.
Experience with blueprints, drawings, and parts lists.
Proficient computer skills.
Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee.

Responsibilities

Conduct examinations and quality control inspections of products, materials, components, and parts to ensure alignment with product requirements and quality standards.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate components, assemblies, and systems.
Maintain documentation records and data on tests performed.
Recommend quality control solutions to complex problems and implement corrective actions.
Set up or build special test panels to facilitate testing or evaluation as needed.
Perform internal audits based on established criteria and record the results.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
