This role is responsible for maintaining paint color and laminate standards and samples for customers and sales, and performing new paint and laminate color setup for RFQs. The technician will assist in monitoring field and internal issues and defects, and contribute to corrective and preventive action measures. They will also help manage the Madix Field Quality Reporting System, communicate field issues to relevant parties, and maintain records of issues and resolutions. Additionally, the role involves creating Excel reports, potentially writing company procedures and work instructions, and making decisions on the acceptability of parts, paints, and colors. The technician will support the corporate inspection stamp system, perform shop floor inspections, assist with shows and sample orders, and may back up other QA department positions. Occasional customer phone interaction may be required.
