About The Position

We're looking for a Quality Technician to support quality assurance activities that help ensure products meet customer, engineering, and regulatory requirements. In this role, you'll work closely with Quality Engineers and Operations teams to maintain quality records, review technical documentation, support inspections, and help drive accuracy throughout the manufacturing process. At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. Our teams repair and manufacture critical aerospace components used across the global aviation industry. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of quality, manufacturing, inspection, or related experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience preparing or reviewing First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102 FAIRs).
  • Familiarity with aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated production environments.
  • Experience supporting quality assurance, inspection, or continuous improvement activities.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and customer quality requirements.
  • Experience creating or maintaining work instructions and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support Quality Engineers with the preparation and review of customer-required quality documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), First Piece Approvals, and concessions.
  • Maintain quality records and documentation to support traceability and historical approvals.
  • Review blueprints, drawings, and FAIR documentation to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in developing and updating work instructions and quality-related procedures.
  • Verify documentation complies with customer, engineering, and internal quality requirements.
  • Support investigations and resolution of documentation or process-related quality issues.
  • Interpret customer specifications, procedures, and flow-down requirements.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain records, reports, and quality documentation.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
