The position of Quality Tech will be assisting the Quality Manager in the plant location. This role requires excellent attendance, superior time management skills, and a self-driven, self-motivated attitude. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. The ability to solve practical problems, interpret verbal and written instructions, and multi-task effectively in various challenging situations is essential. The role also involves reading, comprehending, and interpreting operating instructions, training, and procedure manuals. Excellent communication and listening skills are required for effective interaction with employees, managers, and customers, including providing positive and corrective feedback. The Quality Tech will be significantly involved in the complaint process for both internal and external customers, which includes entering, tracking, and receiving complaint issues, as well as resolutions or root cause analysis. Responsibilities include performing process audits, data entry, and managing and controlling documents related to safety, training, and quality. The role also entails controlling non-conforming supplier defects and returns, managing sorting and reworks, and overseeing weekly KPIs and/or compliances with Corrective Action Reports (CAR). Additionally, the Quality Tech is responsible for Preventive Action Reports (PAR), leading the Safety Committee in the Distribution Center (DC), conducting 7-minute Safety Trainers for all employees in the DC, and completing safety and incident forms.
