This role is for a Quality Tech on the 2nd shift. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with computers and data entry. The responsibilities include performing receiving inspections, documenting and filing inspection results, reviewing defects with vendors, creating and sending supplier scrap reports, documenting cost recovery trends, organizing rejection/scrap information, and supporting manufacturing departments with containments and inspections of supplier parts. The role also emphasizes safety protocols, identifying and addressing quality issues, problem-solving, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and quality standards. The Quality Tech will participate in lean and continuous improvement programs, assist operations in meeting production goals, conduct daily process audits, create Quality Alerts, participate in containment activities, and perform other assigned duties.
